Last week, I discovered that the
library at the end of our street hosts a toddler story time hour every Wednesday morning, so we decided to check it out today. I was a little nervous since sitting attentively is not my little guy's strongsuit, but I was pleasantly surprised at how he did.
They had name tags for each of the kids and sang a good morning song to each and every one of them. They told two stories celebrating Black History month with special guest reader actress
Paula Jai Parker, but mostly it was an active hour of singing, dancing, and coloring & crafts. Needless to say, we will be back each week!
