It was a pretty exciting week at Staples Center, as the Kings made it to the Playoffs for the first time in 8 years. Monday night was one of the most fun sporting events I have ever been to - the Kings won and the energy of the crowd, all dressed in black waving white towels, was amazing!
Sadly, the rest of the week didn't play out so well, as we lost on Wednes- day, again on Friday in Van- couver, and then in what would be the final game of the series on Sunday back in LA. Cat and Doug came to the last game with us, so at least we got to hang out with them...hopefully we'll make it back to the Playoffs next year and get a little closer to the Stanley cup!
