9 months old and this baby is getting way too big way too fast! Luca is by far her favorite person in the world and Thank The Lord, it is still reciprocated! The two of them play together all day long. He entertains her in such and adorable and goofy way - I REALLY need to get this on video! She loves getting laughs out of him, repeating whatever it is to get more laughs. She likes to blow raspberries on my arm, she walks around things and gets herself trapped under chairs and tables, she has four front teeth that are SHARP, she climbs stairs, eats Puffs, is starting to watch the TV when it is on; she says "mamamama..." but Luca immediately tries to coach her to say "dadadadadadada" instead!
One of her favorite things to do is rearrange my Tupperware drawers and pull out all of the water bottles that we store in the wine rack. She gives great kisses, and one of the biggest milestones this month is how much she and Tony are starting to bond. Can't wait to watch this girl wrap her daddy around her finger in a few years!
8 months old and we are FINALLY getting the hang of solid foods! Now she even smacks her lips when she sees me preparing her cereal or watches Luca eat!
This month she has two top teeth poking through and she gives super sweet open-mouthed kisses. She's graduated to the big baby inflatable bath tub and she is getting into ALL of her brother's toys! Now we just need some HAIR on this pretty little head!
Luca was in heaven when we took him to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame - all of his favorite super heroes and cartoon characters hanging out in the same place - what are the odds? ;)
For Aunt Debbie's 60th birthday, Aunt Marilyn planned a fun outing for all of us girls at an interactive murder mystery show called the Dinner Detective. Aunt Debbie even got to be a suspect! So fun getting this group of girls out!
A huge congratulations to Catherine for finishing her first marathon!!! She and her friend Shawna, Holli and Tania all trained together for this year's LA Marathon with the mantra "29 and Feeling Fine! Capri and I got to see them at the 11 mile mark and we met up wit Mom and Dad at the finish line. Cat finished in 4:12:49 and looked GREAT afterwards!
7 months old and this baby is NOT stationary for long! She's crawling all over the place and picking up speed! Already brings herself to a standing position and is now officially happily sitting upright in the shopping cart at Target and the grocery store. She has her first two bottom teeth, but is NOT a fan of solid foods yet. It's still as struggle to get her to eat more than 2 or 3 bites of veggies at a sitting, but we'll get there!
Sadly, she battled her first ear infection this month, but overall she really is a happy baby and has the most adorable way of curling her tongue!
Six months old and she is soooo close to crawling! Right now she just does an army crawl, but she still gets to where she's going. She is also trying hard to sit up on her own and she can even put her own pacifier in her mouth by herself - along with anything else she can get her hands on!
The best news this month is that we finally got to take the car seat adapter off of the double stroller! These two LOVE sitting next to each other now, especially when we are strolling through Disneyland! They also (kinda)get to take baths together now! Luca absolutely loves how much more interactive Capri is getting each week :)
Capri turns 6 months old this week, so she is ready to start solids! The best part of this is hearing Luca laugh hysterically at her - I forgot how funny it is to watch them learn how to eat for the first time!
Every time Tony and Luca go to Disneyland, they talk about how great it will be once Luca is finally tall enough for Star Tours. Tired of waiting, Luca was so sure that his beanie (in 82 degree weather!) would pass for that 40th inch, but no luck!

Girls' Night Out...TWO of them in ONE month, woohoo! Now that Capri is ~6months old, Tony is comfortable watching her...while she's sleeping, that is! As long as I get her down for the night, he's been cool with me going out a few times - and boy was I ready! A great steak dinner at Boa for a belated birthday celebration for Shannon...
...and a Totally 80's Rockstar Birthday Party for Melanie. When Luca saw me getting ready he said, "Wow, Mommy! I really like your clothes!" and Tony said that side pony tails should come back in style!
When this year's Tinkerbell Half Marathon went on sale in September, I waited until the end of the week to register and missed it, it filled up so fast! I was crushed and settled on registering for the inaugural 10K to take place the day before. Well, by the time the actual race came around this weekend, OH BOY was I glad that it was only 6 miles I was running instead of 13! Hopefully by the time Tink 2015 rolls around, I will have a lot more post partum miles under my belt!
