Luca at Legoland

In our continuing effort to do as many fun things as we can before the baby comes and we become quite "unfun" to Luca, we decided to venture out to LEGOLAND!  Luca loved it and the actual Lego exhibits where quite impressive - the only problem was that it was terribly crowded.  So, rather than suffer through tortuous lines all day, we enjoyed the park for a few hours and opted for season passes, planning to go back for Luca's birthday in October.

Camp Snoopy Or Bust!

Since we are blocked out for the next two months at Disneyland, we decided to take Luca on his first trip to Knotts Berry Farm.  My heart will ALWAYS belong to Disney, but I must admit, this was a nice change of pace.  In an hour and a half, we had been on all of the Camp Snoopy rides...twice!
Plus, the four of us got in for $30 less than a single park hopper ticket at Disneyland!  Thank goodness Zio Greg came with us, because he was the perfect partner for Luca on all of the rides!

The highlight of the day may have been when we got to ride the stagecoach because Mom, Greg and I rode on the top while Luca got to ride shotgun between the two horsemen!

Little Man of Steel

Tony had been showing Luca trailers of the new Superman movie for months, counting down the days this past week.   He LOVED it!
He is such a good little movie-goer these days!  Tony even got him his own caped t-shirt from Target, which he wore for three days in a row!

Take Us Out To The Ballgame!

A fun night out with Paul and Maggie cheering on the Boys in Blue!  We only stayed for 5 and a half innings,
but saw the best part because the game went on for 12 innings with the Dodgers losing :(  The best part of the game, though, was seeing how many fans Paul had!

And The Oscar Goes To...

How exciting!  Gregory won an award from the National Youth Arts Association for "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical" for his performance in Joseph last Spring.  We all got to see him accept his award at a theater in Los Angeles Sunday night.  He's getting in his practice for his Tony Award acceptance speech someday...

Luca The Unofficial Kings Mascot

Thank you, Kings, for an amazing season... we made this our "family vacation" this year, and like all vacations, they're never long enough, but we are sure grateful for the memories...
and oh, boy do we have a lot of memories from this season!  Tony's creativity with dressing Luca in various hats and super hero costumes got him on the jumbotron and/or Fox Sports almost every single game!  He was enamored by Bailey, and he was the envy of all the guys around him because the Ice Girls fawned all over him for the Flex Cam and Dance Cam.
My favorite night, of course, was when we got on the Kiss Cam!  I put together a "highlight reel" below and HERE are some more of my favorite pics...we lost in the third round of the playoffs, but it was a fantastic season...Go, Kings, Go!

Happy Birthday, Tony!

Dinner at Momo's with red bean ice cream for dessert to celebrate Tony's birthday...we wished for a King's win, but didn't get it in Game 2...hopefully Game 3!
