Two Blue Lines
So there we were, beginning of February 2010, finally throwing caution to the wind, taking a chance on this whole parenthood thing people say such great stuff about...then comes about the longest two weeks imaginable of wondering...well, did it work!? I started taking the tests pretty early, so on 2/14: no blue line...2/15: no blue line...2/16: "Oh...my... gosh... *spit out toothpaste and stare closer in disbelief* is that a blue line?!?! It's kinda faint, but gosh, the two tests earlier showed absolutely nothing, no it can't be...but I think it is!!! Aaahhh!" We decided to stay super cool and not get too excited and tell everyone just yet since we read so much to caution us about this, but how do you keep from screaming this news to anyone who will listen?! I mean, this is the hardest secret to keep EVER! I called Cat right away, but it wasn't until her birthday a few weeks later that we told the rest of the family, then it felt a little more "real" - everyone is very excited - though, dad might need him/her to call him "Uncle Joe" at first ; ) Still just feels like such a little miracle - I mean, how does your body do the same thing every month for years and years and then one day know to kick into action to create this precious little life?! Thank you, God, for this miracle...well, according to my initial calculation, we are looking at a Halloween baby...here goes nothing!

Who Dat?!
Well, it wasn't the outcome that we were hoping for, but if the Colts had to lose to anyone in the Super Bowl,
it couldn't have been to a better team than the Saints...rumor has it that even the Vatican was endorsing New Orleans!
Oh well, we still had a great time at our party, with the halftime highlight being Mom Allevato drinking out of the awesome ice luge that Marc brought!
