It's official, we're engaged!!! It was the the best Valentine's Day ever!!!
Tony told me that he was taking me to dinner at STK and that we would go to a movie afterwards, but instead, he had the best surprise ever waiting for me...before dinner he formally proposed - well, actually it was comical, but so perfect! He had come up with 9 ways of "How Not To Propose" and the 10th was the "right way" - sort of a Dave Letterman Top Ten style which included "#10 Marry me, I can cook, you can't!"...then we went to dinner and right before dessert he got a call from his sister that she desperately needed us to come watch the kids while she went to see a patient at the hospital - he had already planted a backstory that his parents were in Vegas for the weekend and his sister's husband was working late, but had just started a new job so he couldn't leave - so we were truly her last resort to watch the kids - I told him I didn't mind because she would have never called us unless she was truly
desperate and in my mind, he still had not talked to my parents yet, so he still was going to "owe me" a second/real proposal (he kept saying that he was still trying to coordinate a visit to ask them for their blessing and that he was nervous to ask and that maybe it would be better to go together over the weekend, etc...) anyway, when we got to his sister's, both of our entire families were there waiting for us with champagne and dessert for a surprise engagement party - it was perfect!!! 
My beautiful and fabulous maid-of-honor and best sis in the world!!! We have tentatively set a date of 6/20/09...sounds like a long ways away, but I know it will be here before we know it! Can't wait!!!
