Well, it is 2008 and high time that I finally admit defeat to keeping up with traditional
scrapbooking...for years, I have convinced myself to keep my photos and memorabilia set aside because, one day, I would magically find myself with plenty of time to catch up on all of my photo albums...yeah, right! I hear all of the wise women in my life (aka mom, aunts, friends) who promise me that once I have a husband and kids, all of my precious "me time" will be going straight out the window,
soooo...since I now realize that I will never have any more free time in my life than I do right now, I have decided to streamline with a blog...it may not be beautiful, it may not be three-dimensional, but it WILL be current! And even if I am the only one that reads and keeps up with my posts, it will be one more person than there is now, since all of these pictures and thoughts would otherwise be forgotten and/or stuck in
shoeboxes and memory cards...so, there you have it...RIP my precious glue dots, stickers, and photo corners, hello blog!
I never pass up a chance to get all dressed up...so I was thrilled when Tony called me to say that TVG had an extra spot at their table for the Eclipse Awards, sorta like the Academy Awards for horseracing, it is an evening honoring horses, trainers, breeders, etc...a lovely event at the Regent Beverly Wilshire!
